There is Hope
Are you struggling with feelings of helplessness, loneliness, or depression? There is someone who cares. There is someone who can help. That someone's name is Jesus Christ. “He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.” (Isaiah 42:3)
Jesus is much more than just a great historical figure. He was and is the Son of God who stll lives today and for evermore! “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
The hope which Christ can give is not like the hope of the world. The definition of hope in the world implies chance, but the promises of God are not subject to chance. The definition of hope in Jesus Christ implies assurance, therefore, you can be sure of His promises! “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
How to Know Hope
Therefore, to know real hope, you must know Jesus Christ, and the way to know Jesus Christ is through the Bible which is the word of God. The Bible itself proposes the question, “How can you call on Him (Jesus) unless you believe in Him? And how can you believe in Him if you have never heard about Him? And how can you hear about Him unless someone tells you?” (Romans 10:14)
