At Point of Life Church, becoming a member begins with understanding the foundation of our faith—biblical salvation. This class takes a careful look into God’s Word to uncover what truly happens when a person is saved.

Together, we explore how salvation is not something we can earn, but a gift of God’s grace through the work of Jesus Christ. Because of His great love, God provided atonement for our sins through the righteous act of Christ on the cross. By understanding God’s justice in harmony with His mercy and grace, we see more clearly the depth of His love for us.

This class also addresses the assurance of salvation. Many struggle with doubt, wondering if they are truly saved. Scripture gives us confidence that our salvation is secure—not because of our works, but because of Christ’s finished work. When we rest in this truth, we gain the assurance necessary to live confidently as members of the body of Christ.

Ultimately, this class lays the foundation for a healthy, growing church membership by helping each believer know and trust that their salvation is rooted in God’s unchanging promise.
