Next Steps: Session 2

In this lesson we build on the foundation of Salvation in Jesus Christ and the Assurance of Salvation. We explore the new fellowship we now enjoy with God — a personal relationship made possible through Christ.

Through salvation we have been given access to God:

In Prayer – the privilege of drawing near, speaking to Him, and experiencing the closest intimacy we can know with our Father.

In His Word – the voice of God revealed through Scripture. His Word gives us understanding, guidance, and truth so we may live a life pleasing to Him.

This class highlights how prayer and the Word of God are not only our access points to fellowship with Him, but also the foundation of our growth as disciples of Jesus Christ.
