The Last Days
The Bible opens with the words, “In the beginning,” and then carries us through God’s unfolding plan toward the consummation of all things under the biblical concept of “the last days.” God declares Himself to be “the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.” History is ultimately His story, moving according to His eternal purpose.
In The Last Days, we trace that story from creation to Christ, consider Israel’s place in prophecy, the coming and cutting off of the Messiah, and the biblical declaration that we are living in the last days. We will also consider ancient understandings of God’s redemptive timeline and look ahead to Christ’s return, His Kingdom, and ultimately the new heaven and new earth.
But biblical prophecy is not given merely to satisfy our curiosity about what comes next. God reveals His plan so that we might be ready. Knowing where history is headed should change how we live today. The message of the last days is therefore an urgent call to repent, believe the Gospel, surrender to Jesus Christ, and follow Him.
