I Am Designed for a Purpose: "I can speak up for Jesus" (Week 2)

This week in Let’s Go! we will teach kids that they can speak up for Jesus. In our Bible story, kids will learn about Paul and Timothy. Paul was older than Timothy and encouraged Timothy in his faith. Timothy also had family members who encouraged him to speak up for Jesus. Through this Bible story, kids can know that it won’t always be easy to speak up for Jesus, but the love and encouragement we receive from others around us can really help!

As a family, choose someone you would like to tell about Jesus. This can be a family member you invite over for dinner or a neighbor you invite to church. Pray together that God would give you the courage to speak up for Jesus. Then when you have the chance, share with that person some of the things you love about Jesus.
