God's Promises

This Sunday’s message reminds us that every follower of Christ has received the same precious faith as the apostles—not because of anything in us, but through the righteousness and excellence of Jesus Christ. God, by His divine power, has given us everything we need to live a godly life.

We’ll look honestly at the brokenness of our world—sin, suffering, violence, sickness, emotional pain, and the spiritual battle around us. The Bible makes clear the devastating effects of sin, yet it also gives us a greater hope: the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through Christ, we are rescued from darkness, forgiven, washed, justified, and made partakers of God’s divine nature. And with that comes a promise: Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8)

In a world filled with tribulation, Jesus tells us: “In Me you may have peace… take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Come ready to be reminded that no matter what comes against us, God is for us, God is with us, and God’s promises never fail.
