Todays Livestream: Following Jesus

Jun 21, 2026    Pastor Anthony J Shetley

After exploring the church as the family of God, the Christian community, and the body of Christ, this message turns our attention to the church's sacred duty. The church was never called merely to gather crowds, but to make disciples—to preach the truth, teach the truth, defend the truth, and above all, live the truth.

In a time when much of mainstream Christianity has drifted from its biblical focus, this message calls us back to the simplicity and power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Salvation is more than information; it is transformation. Through the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, we are called not simply to believe in Jesus, but to follow Him.

With a special challenge to men and fathers, this message asks searching questions of the church and of ourselves: Where are the disciples? Where are the men of God? Where are the fathers leading their homes in Christ? And ultimately, where are we in relation to God and His Son, Jesus Christ?

This is a call to rediscover the mission of the church and the life of a true follower of Jesus.

Jesus said, "If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me." (John 12:26)
