In today’s culture, many people identify with the label Christian, but acquiring a label doesn’t go far enough. The gospel was never meant to simply inform the mind—it was meant to transform the heart. In Romans, Paul describes both a godless culture that rejects God and a religious culture that acknowledges Him but remains unchanged. Both reveal humanity’s deepest problem: the heart. But through Jesus Christ, God offers the greatest exchange in history—our sin for His righteousness, our guilt for His forgiveness, and our death for His life.
