Mary's Song

In Luke's gospel, we have recorded for us, the first ever Christmas song. This is the song of Mary, the earthly mother of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This song has come to be known as the Magnificat for it came from the magnification of God within the very soul of Mary which caused her spirit to rejoice! No soul, chosen by God to receive the gift of His Son, can do any thing less than to rejoice in the Lord.
